Library: Penn State Abington’s library has a collection of nearly 60,000 volumes and over 400 electronic databases available to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other residents of Pennsylvania. In addition, access to nearly five million books, periodicals, and documents within the University Libraries’ system is available to members of the Penn State community.
Circulating books in the Penn State Abington library are located on the upper and lower floors. Call numbers A-N are on the upper floor, and P-Z are on the lower floor. All reference books are indicated as such in the CAT and will be located on the main floor of the library. The Penn State Abington library uses the LC (Library of Congress) classification system.

Athletics: Penn State Abington is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), joining the Association for the 2012-2013 academic year. Abington sponsors 13 varsity sports; seven on the women’s side, and six men’s programs. Women’s sports include basketball, cross country, lacrosse, softball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Men’s sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and tennis.
